Providing Wix access to us — or any third party — is a straightforward process and only takes a couple of minutes. The steps below show you exactly where to go in your Wix dashboard to invite a collaborator and set their permissions.

  1. Log in to your Wix account and navigate to the desired site's dashboard. (Click > Select site not Edit Site)

  2. In the top bar search 'roles and permissions' and click on this

OR > In the left-hand menu of the dashboard, click on Settings.

    • Under the Settings options, find and click on Roles & Permissions (it usually has a person icon next to it).

  3. On the Roles & Permissions page, click the Invite Collaborators button.

  4. In the email field, enter hello@voltagency.com.au

  5. Select the role you want to assign to the user.  Admin (co owner) is best access for us to complete design and publish

Why We Ask for Admin (Co-Owner) Access

To properly support your website, we need full access to the parts of Wix that affect performance, visibility, and publishing. Admin (Co-Owner) access allows us to do this efficiently and safely, without delays or back-and-forth.

This level of access lets us:

  • Publish changes immediately (no waiting for approvals)

  • Update SEO settings like page titles, descriptions, and indexing

  • Manage site structure, redirects, and performance settings

  • Connect analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console

  • Ensure everything is set up correctly for Google visibility

We do not access billing, payment details, or personal information unless explicitly required and approved.

How This Helps Your Website (SEO & Performance)

Having the right permissions means we can:

  • Make sure your site is search-engine friendly

  • Prevent technical issues that can stop pages appearing on Google

  • Improve page structure so Google understands your content

  • Publish updates quickly when changes are ready

Limited access can slow things down or block important updates, which can impact results and timelines.

Your Control & Security

You remain the primary owner of the site at all times.

  • You can change or remove access whenever you like

  • Nothing is published without purpose or explanation

  • All changes are made in line with agreed work
